includes: Delhi, Agra (including the Taj Mahal), and Jaipur.

circuit starting and ending in Delhi. The Golden Triangle is
so called because of the triangular shape formed by the
locations of New Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan on a map, but is
occasionally expanded to include the wider geographical area

fly from Delhi, travel north to the site of the Taj Mahal at

DAY-01: New Delhi arrival:
Meet and
assist with our GRAND INDIA TOURS representative at airport
and transfer to pre booked hotel in New Delhi. If you are
arriving in Morning New Delhi so can check in at hotel first
and there is option available for the city tour or something
related tour activity like shopping, etc. or day can be free
for you without any transportation for any activity, just
stay at hotel.
DAY-02: Departure
06:00 hrs. for Mathura & Agra Tour:
After
breakfast or breakfast pack you have to proceed from Delhi
to Agra Departure time: @ 06:00 hrs. Reaching
Mathura-Vrindavana @ 10:00 hrs. a land of God
Krishna. Visit the main LORD KRISHNA’S TEMPLES here and
later depart @ 11:30 hrs. to AGRA. Reaching
Agra @ 13:30 hrs. Visit “Tomb of Akbar the
great”:
Visiting the first historical place called ‘AKBAR’S TOMB” in
Agra’s Sikandra, the last resting place of the Mughal
Emperor Akbar the Great, is on the Delhi-Agra Highway, only
13 kilometers from the Agra Fort.
Akbar's tomb reflects the completeness of his personality.
The vast, beautifully carved, red-ochre sandstone tomb with
deer, rabbits and langurs is set amidst a lush garden. Akbar
himself planned his own tomb and selected a suitable site
for it. To construct a tomb in one's lifetime was a Turkic
custom which the Mughals followed religiously. Akbar's son
Jahāngīr completed construction of this pyramidal tomb in
1613. The 99 names of Allah have been inscribed on the tomb.
Depart @ 14:30 hrs. to stopover for a lunch at a nice
restaurant on the way to the next tourist spot of Agra.
Reaching
AGRA FORT @ 16:00 hrs. at “AGRA FORT”:
Agra Fort (sometimes called the Red Fort), was
commissioned by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565, and
is another of Agra's World Heritage Sites. A stone tablet at
the gate of the Fort states that it had been built before
1000 but was later renovated by Akbar. The red sandstone
fort was converted into a palace during Shāh Jahān's time,
and reworked extensively with marble and pietra dura inlay.
Pearl Mosque or Motī Masjid, the Dīwān-e-'Ām
and Dīwān-e-Khās (halls of public and private audience),
Jahāngīr's Palace, Khās Mahal, Shīsh Mahal (mirrored
palace), and the Musamman Burj can be see @ ‘AGRA FORT

DAY-03: Visit ‘TAJ MAHAL,
FATEHPUR-SIKRI & proceed to JAIPUR
TAJ MAHAL:
Wake up ½ hour before the
sunrise
and driver will drop you
at TAJ MAHAL entranced. At the time of
SUNRISE
the beauty of the ‘TAJ
MAHAL’ and their scenario make unforgettable moments in your
life.
Agra's Taj Mahal is one of the most famous buildings in the
world, the mausoleum of Shah Jahan's favorite wife, Mumtaz
Mahal. It is one of the New Seven Wonders of the world, and
one of three World Heritage Sites in Agra.
Completed in 1653, the Tāj Mahal was built by the Mughal
king Shāh Jahān as the final resting place for his beloved
wife, Mumtāz Mahal. Finished in marble, it is perhaps
India's most fascinating and beautiful monument. This
perfectly symmetrical monument took 22 years (1630–1652) of
labour and 20,000 workers, masons and jewelers to build and
is set amidst landscaped gardens. Built by the Persian
architect, Ustād 'Īsā, the Tāj Mahal is on the bank of the
Yamuna River.
Come out from the ‘TAJ MAHAL’ @ 08:30 hrs.

Depart @ between 10:30 hrs. to 11:00 hrs. from
Agra’s Hotel and proceed to the next famous tourist spot
called ‘FATEHPUR SIKRI’. Reach @ 12:00 hrs. at
‘Fatehpur-Sikri’. Built near the much older Sikri, the
historical city of Fatehabad, as it was first named, was
constructed by Mughal emperor Akbar beginning in 1570. It
was built in honor of Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chisti, who
lived in a cavern on the ridge at Sikri, and foretold the
birth of his son, who was named Prince Salim after the
saint. Depart @ 13:00 hrs. from Fatehpur and proceed to
Jaipur. Reach Jaipur @ 18:00 hrs. check in to hotel.

(meaning "Water Palace") is a palace located in the middle
of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city, the capital of the

were renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja
Jai Singh II of Amber.

The aesthetic
ambiance of this formidable fort is seen within its walls on
a four level (each with a courtyard) layout plan in well
turned out opulent palace complex built with red sandstone
and marble consisting of the Diwan-e-Aam or the "Hall of

Audience", the Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace) or Jai Mandir,
and the Sukh Niwas where a cool climate is artificially
created by winds that blow over the water cascade within the
palace.

The fort,
rugged and similar in structural design to the Amber Fort,
is also known as Victory Fort. It has a length of 3
kilometres (1.9 mi) along the north-south direction and a
width of 1 kilometre (0.62 mi). The fort features a cannon
named “Jaivana”, which was manufactured in the fort
precincts and was then the world's largest.

Nahagarh Fort
stands on the edge of the Aravalli Hills, overlooking the
pink city of Jaipur the view of the city from the fort is
breath taking. Along with Amber Fort and Jaigarh Fort it
formed a strong defence ring for the city.

"Palace of
Winds" or “Palace of the Breeze”), is a palace in Jaipur,
India. It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh,
and designed by Lal Chand Usta in the form of the crown of
Krishna, the Hindu god. Its unique five-storey exterior is
also akin to the honeycomb of the beehive with its 953 small
windows called jharokhas that are decorated with intricate
latticework.
> City Palace Complex: @

City Palace,
Jaipur, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal
palaces and other buildings, is a palace complex in
Jaipur city, the capital of the Rajasthan state, India. It
was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, the head of the
Kachwaha Rajput clan. The Chandra Mahal palace now houses a
museum but the greatest part of it is still a royal
residence.

The Jantar
Mantar is a collection of architectural astronomical
instruments, built by Maharaja (King) Jai Singh II at his
then new capital of Jaipur between 1727 and 1734. It is
modeled after the one that he had built for him at the
Mughal capital of Delhi.

Gate is the national monument of India. Situated in the
heart of New Delhi, India Gate was designed by Sir Edwin
Lutyens. It was built in 1931. Originally known as All India
War Memorial, it is a prominent landmark in Delhi and
commemorates the 90,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army
who lost their lives while fighting for the British Indian
Empire, or more correctly the British Raj in World War I and
the Third Anglo-Afghan War.

The Parliament
of India is the supreme legislative body in India. Founded
in 1919, the Parliament alone possesses legislative
supremacy and thereby ultimate power over all political
bodies in India.
> Jantar Mantar:
The Jantra
Mantra (literally the 'instrument and formula' and often
called the Jantar Mantar), is located in the modern
city of New Delhi, Delhi. It consists of 13 architectural
astronomy instruments, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of
Jaipur, from 1724 onwards, and is one of five built by him,
as he was given by Mughal emperor Muhammad Shah the task of
revising the calendar and astronomical tables.
> Rajghaat:
Raj Ghat is a
memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. It is a black marble platform
that marks the spot of Gandhiji's cremation on 31 January
1948. It is left open to the sky while an eternal flame
burns perpetually at one end. It is located on the banks of
the river Yamuna in Delhi in India on Ring Road officially
known as Mahatma Gandhi Road.
> Red Fort:
The Red Fort
usually transcribed into English as Lal Qil'ah or
Lal Qila) is a 17th century fort complex constructed by
the lal qila in the walled city of Old Delhi (in present day
Delhi, India) that served as the residence of the Imperial
Family of India. It also served as the capital of the
Mughals until 1857, when Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar
was exiled by the British Indian government. It was
designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007.
> Jama Masjid:
Delhi, is the
principal mosque of Old Delhi in India. Commissioned by the
Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, builder of the Taj Mahal, and
completed in the year 1628 AD, it is the largest and
best-known mosque in India. It lies at the origin of a very
busy central street of Old Delhi, the Chawri Bazar Road.
> Qutub Minar:
The Qutub
Minar is a tower located in Delhi, India. It is the
world's tallest brick minaret with a height of 72.5 meters
(237.8 ft). Construction commenced by Qutb-ud-din Aibak who
won Delhi from Prithviraj under Muhammad Ghori as his
commander in chief, and finished by Iltutmish.
> Lotus Temple:
The Bahá'í
House of Worship in Delhi, India, popularly known as the
Lotus Temple due to its flowerlike shape, is a Bahá'í
House of Worship and also a prominent attraction in Delhi.
It was completed in 1986 and serves as the Mother Temple of
the Indian subcontinent.
> Akshardham Temple:
Akshardham is a
Hindu temple complex in Delhi, India. Also referred to as
Delhi Akshardham or Swaminarayan Akshardham, the
complex displays millennia of traditional Indian and Hindu
culture, spirituality, and architecture.
